The ministry’s Account Division is entrusted with duties of allocating financial provisions for the maintenance of general administration functions and institutional services which are allocated to the Ministry Vote by the annual financial statement under two projects for the Minister’s office and the Ministry office and after incurring the relevant expenses in accordance with the Financial Regulations and the responsibility of reporting the operational results to the Auditor General through the final annual accounts.

Accordingly preparation of annual estimates, salary and compensation and making other payments, maintaining accounts, preparing monthly and annual accounts, activities relevant to audits, preparing audit reports and maintaining the functions of the Accounts committees can be considered as the key functions of the Account division.
